July 2006 - Present, I have been employed as a Consultant with the Keane Canada, Inc.

July 1998 - January 2006, I have been employed as a Senior Applications Analyst with the Capital District Health Authority, at the Queen Elizabeth II Health Sciences Centre (QEII) site.

September 1994 - December 2000, I have been employed with Dalhousie University as an Instructor for the Introductory Computer Course offered by its Henson College Transition Year Program.

November 1997 - December 2000, I have also been employed with Dalhousie University, as a Web Author for the James Robinson Johnston Chair in Black Canadian Studies Web Site.

October 1992 - June 1998, I have been employed as a Software Specialist with Software Kinetics Ltd, where I have been tasked on numerous consulting projects. My experience at Software Kinetics enabled me to demonstrate strengths throughout the different stages in the Application Life Cycle Development Process.

Formerly of Software Kinetics Ltd., Central Guarantee Trust, Environment Canada Parks, and Nidak Associates (Toronto, Ontario), my background includes over 12 years of experience specializing in real-time software development. My experience in custom software development, for both military and private sector applications, has enabled me to develop strengths in software maintenance, design, development and implementation, user support, training, documentation, and manual writing.

April 1998 - June 1998, I joined Henson College in providing educational services to the Afro-Nova Scotian Community in Beechville, Nova Scotia, Canada as a facilitator for a Computer Skills Course.

July 2, 1981 - February 2, 1998, I had been an active member of the Canadian Naval Reserves. Trained as a Naval Reserve Pay Writer, I had also been employed with the Reserves as a Programmer/Analyst on numerous occasions. Most of my employment with the Naval Reserves has been with the Naval Reserve Unit H.M.C.S. Scotian.

May 1986, I graduated from St.Mary's University, with a B.Sc. in Mathematics & Computer Science.

May 1992, I graduated from Dalhousie University, with a B.Ed. in Mathematics.
