List the steps required to perform the following tasks using the Windows95 Explorer.
- To rename a text file - TYP.TXT - located on a 3.5" diskette to the filename - FILEMGR.TXT .
The steps are as follows:
- Select Drive a:
- Select a:\typ.txt
- Click on the menu items File-Rename
- In the Rename window,
- Enter FILEMGR.TXT in the TO field
- Click on the OK button or press the ENTER key
- To view a text file - FILEMGR.TXT - located on a 3.5" diskette.
The steps are as follows:
- Select Drive a:
- Select a:\FILEMGR.TXT
- Click on the menu items File-Open
- Click on the OK button or press the ENTER key
- To create a directory TYP on a computer's primary hard drive.
- To copy a text file - FILEMGR.TXT - located on a 3.5" diskette to a directory -TYP - located on a computer's primary hard drive.
- To move a text file - FILEMGR.TXT - located on a 3.5" diskette to a directory - TYP - located on a computer's primary hard drive such that the files is saved to the TYP directory bearing the filename - FILEMGR.BKP .
- To copy text files - ASSMNT1.TXT, ASSMNT2.TXT, ASSMNT3.TXT - located on a computer's primary hard drive to the root directory of a 3.5" diskette - by selection of multiple files.
- To delete text files - ASSMNT1.BKP, ASSMNT2.BKP, ASSMNT3.BKP - located on a 3.5" diskette - by selection of multiple files.
- To find text file - FILEMGR.OLD - on a computer's primary hard drive.
- To print text file - FILEMGR.OLD - located in the subdirectory - OLDFILES - on a computer's primary hard drive.
- To delete text file - FILEMGR.OLD - located in the subdirectory - OLDFILES - on a computer's primary hard drive.
- To execute the program - WP.EXE - located on a computer's hard drive in the directory - \DOSAPPS\WP.
- To execute the program - WP.EXE - located on a computer's hard drive in the directory - \DOSAPPS\WP - such that it automatically displays the text file - TYP.TXT - located in the root directory of a 3.5" diskette.
