Description: Prepare a diskette as if it is the hard disk drive of a computer. At the very least, it should feature the following items:
  1. Be a system diskette.
  2. Have only system files at the root level.
  3. Have a directory to hold the operating system files which are not required at the root level.
  4. Have a directory for you work files, named accordingly and holding a subdirectory for each course you are taking along with one for personal information.
  5. Have a directory for files downloaded from the internet. Place at least one file in the download directory.
  6. Label the diskette on both the inside and outside.

Description: Prepare a Word Perfect Document which includes the following features:
  1. A title page with the course number, document title, date, your name and an interesting graphic. The contents of this page should be centered both horizontally and vertically.
  2. Page numbering that does not appear on the first page.
  3. A collection of Native Studies/Black History compositions that you find and download from the net. The content of your document should span 2 pages. Enhance it with a graphic which reflects the content of your stories.

    Warning: The text you download from the net will need to have the hard returns removed at the end each line.

  4. At least one footnote. Use the footnote as a way reference where you found your stories.
This assignment is to be saved on a floppy disk, and passed in on paper.
