M - Ministering to the whole person
1 Thessalonian 5:23.  Now may the God of peace Himself sanctify you completely; and may your whole spirit, soul, and body be preserved blameless at the coming of our Lord Jesus Christ.

Matthew 9: 36-38.  But when He saw the multitudes, He was moved with compassion for them, because they were weary and scattered, like sheep having no shepherd.

Philippians 2:27.  For indeed he was sick almost unto death; but God had mercy on him, and not only on him but on me also, lest I should have sorrow upon sorrow.

Matthew 25: 35.  "…for I was hungry and you gave me food, I was thirsty and you gave me drink; I was a stranger and you took me in; I was naked and you clothed me; I was sick and you visited me; I was in prison and you came to me."

E - Evangelizing the lost
Luke 19: 9-10.   And Jesus said to him, "Today salvation has come to this house, because he also is a son of Abraham; for the Son of Man has come to seek and to save that which was lost."

Luke 15: 11-12 (The Parable of the Lost Son).  [This most beloved of all Christ's parables has more than one lesson.   The prodigal son illustrates sound repentance.   The elder brother illustrates the wickedness of the Pharisees' self-righteousness, prejudice, and indifference toward repenting sinners.   The father pictures God, eager to forgive and longing for the return of the sinner.   The parable expresses God's joy and the celebrations in heaven when a sinner repents.]

Matthew 28:19.   "Go therefore and make disciples of all the nations, baptizing them in the name of the Father and of the Son and of the Holy Spirit, teaching them to observe all things that I have commanded you; and lo, I am with you always, even to the end of the age.".

E - Equipping members to be ministers
Ephesians 4: 11-12.   And He Himself gave some to be apostles, some prophets, some evangelists, and some pastors and teachers, for the equipping of the saints for the work of ministry, for the edifying of the body of Christ…

Ezekial 44:11.  "Yet they shall be ministers in My Sanctuary, as gatekeepers of the house and ministers of the house; they shall slay the burnt offering and the sacrifice for the people, and they shall stand before them to minister to them."

Acts 1:8.   "But you shall receive power when the Holy Spirit has come upon you; and you shall be witnesses to Me in Jerusalem, and in all Judea and Samaria, and to the end of the earth."

T - Teaching the body of Christ
Matthew 28:19.  "Go therefore and make disciples of all the nations, baptizing them in the name of the Father and of the Son and of the Holy Spirit…"

2 Timothy 2: 15.   Be diligent to present yourself approved to God, a worker who does not need to be ashamed, rightly dividing the word of truth.

Exodus 4:12.   "Now therefore, go, and I will be with your mouth and teach you what you shall say."

1 Peter 2:21.  …"as newborn babes, desire the pure milk of the word, that you may grow thereby…"[God's Word offers pure spiritual nourishment; spiritual growth is always marked by a craving for and delight in God Word with the same intensity with which a baby craves milk.]
